Fine Arts education is an integral part of the development of each human being. It refers to education in the disciplines of performing and visual arts. Earlier, a career in an art form was considered merely as hobby or part time work. Due to lack of awareness creative arts like Music, Dance, Theatre and Painting were less preferred courses for study. But today, it is considered a full-fledged profession like any other career involving its own set of challenges and hard work. With the rising demand for artists in both professional and academic areas, avenues of their employability grow day by day as Indian art industry is emerging parallel to the mainstream industries. M.S. Panwar Institute of Creative Arts was started in the year 2010 with the intention of promoting the creative talents in the society. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was awarded the Gandhi Peace Prize for its significant contribution towards spread of education, integration of the best of ancient and modern values and promotion of peace and harmony among all faiths and communities.
Established in the year 1938 by Dr. KM Munshi with the blessing of Mahatama Gandhi and with the support of several stalwarts of Indian freedom movement, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has steadily risen to its present stature and grown into not only a significant national but also an international organization. Currently, with its more than 100 centres in India, seven overseas centres, large number of schools and job- oriented courses and professional colleges, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has been making a significant contribution to elevate the people mentally, morally and spiritually.
It would be instructive to remember that Kulapati Kanhaiyalal Maneklal Munshi founded the Bhavan a full decade before the advent of Independence. 7th of November 1938 was the beginning of an 'Adventure in Faith'. A faith in India's Past, Present and Future. The founding of Bhavan was based on the preservation and propagation of Bharatiya Sanskriti (Indian culture) and Sanskrit, the mother of languages, the akshaya patra - the inexhaustible reservoir. This unpretentious endeavour was backed by Kulapati Munshi's amazing pragmatism. Over the years from being a modest Indological research institution, it has steadily grown into a comprehensive, co-operative, apolitical, national movement with an international outlook. It seeks to inculcate a value-based life. The promotion of ethical and spiritual values in everything that it does..
