Earlier, a career in an art form was considered merely as hobby or part time work. Due to lack of awareness creative arts like Music, Dance, Theatre and Painting were less preferred courses for study. But today, it is considered a full-fledged profession like any other career involving its own set of challenges and hard work. With the rising demand for artists in both professional and academic areas, avenues of their employability grow day by day as Indian art industry is emerging parallel to the mainstream industries.    M.S. Panwar Institute of Creative Arts was started in the year 2010 with the intention of promoting the creative talents in the society. The institute is affiliated as a study centre of IGNOU and is imparting regular courses in performing and visual arts.    Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is a front runner in identifying opportunities and designing suitable programmes for the benefit of the variety of demands of the student community. The idea of a school of Performing and Visual Arts at IGNOU that was initiated in 2007, finally took shape in February 2009 when the school began to be fully-functional with the newly inducted faculty. This School aims at developing and offering programmes in collaboration with different specialized institutes leading to Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees in the areas of performing and visual arts.    M.S. Panwar Institute of Creative Arts (MSPICA) work with these objectives:  :: To provide opportunities by promoting aesthetics as a learning process in professional and academic arena.   :: To appeal to the senses and emotions.   :: To inculcate creativity through a diverse range of creative activities and modes of expression.     To achieve its goals the Institute is focused on spreading art and aesthetic education through its various courses. Established in the year 1938 by Dr. KM Munshi with the blessing of Mahatama Gandhi and with the support of several stalwarts of Indian freedom movement, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has steadily risen to its present stature and grown into not only a significant national but also an international organization. Currently, with its more than 100 centres in India, seven overseas centres, large number of schools and job- oriented courses and professional colleges, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has been making a significant contribution to elevate the people mentally, morally and spiritually.

It would be instructive to remember that Kulapati Kanhaiyalal Maneklal Munshi founded the Bhavan a full decade before the advent of Independence. 7th of November 1938 was the beginning of an 'Adventure in Faith'. A faith in India's Past, Present and Future. The founding of Bhavan was based on the preservation and propagation of Bharatiya Sanskriti (Indian culture) and Sanskrit, the mother of languages, the akshaya patra - the inexhaustible reservoir. This unpretentious endeavour was backed by Kulapati Munshi's amazing pragmatism. Over the years from being a modest Indological research institution, it has steadily grown into a comprehensive, co-operative, apolitical, national movement with an international outlook. Guru Jambeshwar UniversityThe Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, was established on October 20, 1995 by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana. It was formally inaugurated on November 1, 1995. It is named after Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj. a saint environmentalist of 15th century. Keeping in view the nature of courses offered at the University and the mandate for which it had been established the name of the University has been changed as Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology. The University is situated at Hisar, a rapidly growing town situated at 167 Km. from Delhi on Delhi- Rohtak-Hisar-Sirsa-Fazilka National Highway (NH- 10) and at a distance of 231 Km. from Chandigarh on NH-65. The University is situated over a sprawling area of about 372 acres. The campus is laid out with picturesque landscape, numerous buildings of various designs and wide road network.
